Opened
June 2006, in a wonderful colonial villa on Wu Ding
Road (not the most attractive road, although
the entrance is fancy). Mediterraneo
is about dining in an
lovely renovated old villa, with an attractive
snazzy-swing-chair-filled garden. The decor really
is outstanding, as is the environment
/ atmosphere; we likey. Upstairs, there are many
little rooms and a great terrace for al fresco dining.
Perfect for a nice spring or autumn day. The menu
is lengthy,
mainly
Italian. The food quality is decent, although there
have heard
mixed reports from our different reviewers. Perhaps
it is just teething problems, since the restaurant
was
still
new when we went. Overall, the service seemed to
be inexperienced, though, although to some of us,
the waitors were attentive.
