Organic Kitchen Shanghai is the first (that we know of) organic prepared food delivery service in Shanghai. If you have wanted to eat organic food, you have had to buy the ingredients and cook it yourself, or ask your ayi to do it. Organic food ingredients are gradually becoming more available in Shanghai, and especially after the milk scare and the Greenpeace findings of all the toxic pesticides in the fruits and vegetables throughout China, including Shanghai, it is more and more important to protect your health and be carful what you eat. For people who do not have the time to prepare food from organic ingredients on their own, Organic Kitchen Shanghai is the answer.

The Organic Kitchen Shanghai menu is quite diverse. They claim that they want to be able to provide organic food to you for your different moods. We were sceptical about such a diverse menu. But we tried the Organic Authentic Shawarma Wrap made from organic chicken and organic pita bread... it was quite good. Some friends had the organic pasta and gave it positive reviews. The Organic Chicken andVegetables Soup was quite delicious - with a hint of spicy-ness (which we like). We all enjoyed the Organic Chocolate Mousse Nirvana. Still haven't tried the Indian or Chinese yet.

Organic Kitchen Shanghai, according to their website, is currently food delivery only. They deliver through the Mealbay restaurtant delivery service, which delivers for many fine restaurants in Shanghai.
