Simply Thai is located on Dongping Lu in the Former French Concession area, a quaint street with many restaurants on it, about 1/2 a block away from Hengshan Lu. Simply Thai is housed in a lovely little 1920's colonial style villa, with semi-outoor patio seating, too. On 2 floors, the restaurant leave a nice, warm impression, and the smell of incense is a nice touch, too.
Simply Thai is popular with expatriates in Shanghai, who are repeat diners, as the quality of the food is very good and quite authentic, prepared by Thai chefs, and the prices are not outrageous. The service is quite good, which leaves one with an overall pleasant dining experience.
