Thai Gallery is not at all a traditional Thai restaurant. Light-colour cement walls (a bit like Shintori), an ultra-modern dummy-waitor to bring food up to the 2nd floor, white patterned partitions and bright art on the walls... the atmosphere at Thai Gallery is modern. Even the menu looks like it's on a painting canvas. The food is ok - it can be termed as "modern Thai". Thai Gallery is not the most popular Thai restaurant in town, probably a bit because of its out-of-the-way location, but it's decent. And it is certainly different from the other South-East Asian style Thai restaurants, with wooden floors and Buddhas. The service at Thai Gallery tends to be generally good, although we have heard a mild complaint or two.
